SIMA 2022

A look back at SIMA 2022

For the first time, we exhibited our services at SIMA - the International Exhibition of Solutions and Technologies for Efficient and Sustainable Agriculture - which took place from 6 to 10 November 2022 at the Parc des Expositions Paris-Nord Villepinte. This 100th edition welcomed more than 1,000 exhibitors from 37 different countries and 153,000 visitors.

Our partners and startups present

On the joint stand of AgreenTech Valley and Agreen Lab’O Village by CA, 4 startups belonging to our network were welcomed:

  • Farmviz, a solution for controlling the thermometry of agricultural storage facilities ;
  • Mon Hangar, a rental platform that brings together individuals and professionals looking for storage space with farmers who have free space ;
  • Rize, a system for financing the ecological transition for farmers via carbon credits ;
  • Seabex, a decision support tool for precision irrigation.

Exchange with Marc Fesneau

During this event, we had the pleasure to exchange a few words with Marc Fesneau, Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, who was passing by our stand.

This was an opportunity to quickly present the AgTech innovation ecosystem and the expertise of the 4 startups working with us. Through these direct exchanges, we hope to bring up to the highest level the problems encountered by farmers and producers in the field, as well as those of the startups!

#CoFarming Conference

In addition, Nicolas Maniez, project manager at AgreenTech Valley, led a conference proposed by the #CoFarming association "Carbon credits: Eldorado or smoke and mirrors? How to sort out the real from the fake", with contributions from Thibaut Savoye (Carbone Farmers), Etienne Variot (Rize ag) and Clément Legrand (GAIAGO).

It was a good occasion to show the usefulness of carbon credits in financing the ecological transition, but also to imagine, in the long term, other mechanisms to promote good agri-environmental practices in order to tend towards financing their maintenance, for the benefit of farmers.

H@rvest Alliance Steering Committee

Muriel Doucet, CEO of AgreenTech Valley, also participated in a steering committee of the H@rvest Alliance, of which we are a member, in charge of digital projects for the agricultural world and the environment.

And more...

At the same time, the show was an opportunity to share moments of conviviality with our members, the members of our Leading Farmers Club, members of the FranceAgriTwittos association and other influential personalities from the world of agriculture on social networks, as well as with the stand teams themselves!

We and the startups are very happy to have been able to present our structures to the many visitors of the fair and we hope that this success will lead to new projects and new collaborations!

This experience was made possible thanks to the support of Crédit Agricole Centre Loire, Orléans Métropole and Orléans Technopole, which we warmly thank.
