Viva Technology 2024

AgreenTech Valley was present on Thursday 23 May at the Parc des Expositions de Paris Porte de Versailles for the 2024 edition of Viva Technology !

Europe's biggest trade fair dedicated to start-ups and technology!

On this day, Muriel DOUCET, Director of the AgreenTech Valley cluster, led an enriching discussion on the Centre-Val de Loire Region stand on ‘Climate change and the sustainability of agriculture: digital responses’.

Rémi Dumery, farmer, cluster referent and Vice-Chairman of Cerfrance Alliance Centre for the Loiret region, shared his experience of changes in agriculture, highlighting the impact of climate hazards on his farm and the solutions and tools he has implemented to meet the challenges.

Taher Mestiri, Chairman of Seabex, presented the Seabex platform for optimising irrigation, recognised and awarded worldwide for its efficient management of water resources. This was an opportunity to highlight the importance of using technology to make informed decisions and secure agricultural value chains.

Franck Gauthier, Chairman of SYLVIACARE, explained how the Sylviacare forest fire detection and prevention tool works, highlighting the partnerships and prospects for large-scale deployment in the forestry sector and, more generally, in the agricultural sector and the protection of farmers' assets.🌿

Additional testimonials and feedback on the contribution of digital technology to the production of enlightening dashboards for decision-making in the agricultural sector, and a fine illustration of the work of the AgreenTech Valley cluster❗

We would like to thank the speakers for their expertise and their invaluable contributions to our discussion on innovative digital solutions to climate challenges, as well as the Centre-Val de Loire Region and DEV'UP Centre-Val de Loire for highlighting the region's innovative ecosystem at Viva Technology 2024.🌱
